^2 (A)in hope of eternal life, which God, ^(B)who never lies, ^(C)promised ^(D)before the ages began^{[a] 3} and ^(E)at the proper time manifested in his word ^(F)through the preaching ^(G)with which I have been entrusted ^(H)by the command of God our Saviour;

⁴ To Titus, ^(I)my true child in ^(J)a common faith:
